I took the “Acquia Certified Drupal Site Builder”
Book - D8 Module Porting 101 - Porting Simple FB Connect Module to D8
Probably the first book on Drupal 8. But honestly this is not worthy of being called a book. Just a collection of notes that I took as I ported the simple_fb_connect module to D8. Felt it was too long for a blog post and hence the book below!
Cracking Acquia Certified Developer - Front end Specialist CertificationI had a chance to try the upcoming (Drupal) Acquia Certified Developer - Front end Specialist Certification Exam. Thanks to Acquia Certification Team for allowing me to try it out. Telize - Simple IP-based Redirection Module for Drupal SitesWas working with a customer who required simple IP-based redirection for Drupal Sites. FBIp - A lightweight module to automate form-submission based IP banning in DrupalDrupal has a nice Internal tool to block IP addresses. It is available in core with no additional modules required. It can be accessed via Configuration -> People -> IP Address Blocking. Cracking Acquia Drupal CertificationI took my Acquia Certification exam this weekend. Cleared it with 75%. Though I am taking huge pride in probably being the first from India to have cleared/taken the certification, I acknowledge that my score is a bit embarrassing. I attribute the low score to my poor theming and JS skills which I should be working on this year. They have a well-defined list of accesses and credentials to be provided as soon as the person joins the project.
